Australasian Clinical Trials in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

The Australasian Clinical Trials in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (ACTPRAS) is a collaborative that gives interested Surgical personnel the opportunity to lead and participate in clinical studies that enhance patient care.
Who we are

ACTPRAS is a platform for collaboration and learning.

ACTPRAS is both a National and International collaborative bringing together Clinical Research worldwide in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

We support clinical audits, surveys, observational studies and randomised trials, involving surgeons at every stage from medical student to senior consultant. Our track record already includes successful international studies that have improved surgical practice (see Studies), and we continue to expand our projects portfolio with new trials in development. We also store and host valuable educational resources (such as expert talks and training materials) for the benefit of trainees and investigators (see Resources & Training).
